Mr. Zachary Michael "Zach" Smith, age 31, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Born August 11, 1993 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Michael and Carla Taylor Smith.

Zach attended the Pointe Church and was a caring and respectful young man.  He enjoyed being with his family, riding motorcycles, UGA Football, and the Atlanta, Falcons. Zach was a heavy equipment operator.

Family members include his parents; brothers, Joshua Smith and Chandler Smith; grandparents, Charles and Deloris Cheek; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Brenda Carroll and Loyd and Bernice Smith.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 1:45pm Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Chad Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

Joshua Smith, Chandler Smith, Symon Clouatre, Dale Maxwell, David Cogswell, and Austin Watkins will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate memorial donations to Whitlock Mortuary to help with final expenses.
