Mrs. Willie Jay Howe Crump, age 92, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Wilkinson Center.

Born June 5, 1932 in Carnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Grady and Alice Norton Howe.

Mrs. Crump retired from WABCO with 30 years of service, and also worked in the snack bar at Stephens County Hospital.  She attended Sunnyside Baptist Church.

Family members include her daughter, Denise Muelleder (Edi); son, Dale Crump (Alice); grandchildren, Mallory Crump (Mark Elsberry), Tyler Crump (Catherine), Katie Pitts (Preston), Chelsea Hall (Patrick) and Will English; great-grandson, Devin Elsberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmage E. Crump; and her sisters, Helen Payne and Faye Peeples.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until 1:45pm  on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday, February 3, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Jesse Colbert officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Corey Pike, Mark Elsberry, Tyler Crump, Will English, Preston Pitts, and Mark Addison will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church.
