William Hatcher Rich (Bill), age 82, of Hendersonville, NC, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on May 23, 2023.

Bill was born on August 18, 1940 to Roger and Gussie Rich in Athens, GA.

Bill was married to Martha for 63 years.  They had two children, Gail and Billy.

Bill was pre-deceased by his son, Billy, and his grandson, Ryan.  He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Gail (husband Larry, son Joshua); daughter-in-law, Sheri; grandsons, Trey (wife Haylee, children Liam and Lyla), Garrett and Joshua; and brother, Roger.

An intimate graveside service will be held on May 29th, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Roselane Cemetery.

Bill loved the Lord, and his family and friends.  He was patient and kind, and put others before himself.  He looked forward to being with God in Heaven, which is where we will no doubt see him again.  We are all very, very blessed by God for having Bill Rich in our lives.
