Mr. William Allen "Bill" Barrett, age 78, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022.

Born June 30, 1943 in Forsyth, GA, he was the son of the late Wilburn and Kathryn Ledford Barrett. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Barrett.

He was employed with Development Associates and was of the Baptist Faith.

Family members include his wife, Peggy Mathis Stowe Barrett; children, Tammy Whitworth and Keith, Bill Barrett and Stefanie, Darren Barrett and Alicia, Michelle Stowe, Thomas Stowe and Jennifer; grandchildren, Zack Whitworth and Kelsey, Alexis Morris and Kyle, Avery Barrett, Zoey Stowe, Zaylee Stowe, Abigal Wilson, Savannah Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar Barrett and Martha, Lamar Barrett and Lynn.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10 am until the service on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at eleven o'clock Friday, July 1, 2022 at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow.

Bill Barrett, Darren, Barrett, Thomas Stowe, Keith Whitworth, Zack Whitworth, and Danny Barrett will serve as pallbearers.

501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
