Ms. Wanda Gail Wood Auer, age 78, of Flowery Branch, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at her home.

Born April 6, 1945 in Toccoa, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lake Arnold and Ila Mae Jordan Wood.

Ms. Auer retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center and had worked as the Collections Administer.  She was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.

Family members include her brother, Doug Wood of Martin, GA; and her nephew, Brent Wood of Eastanollee, GA.

Graveside Services will be held at one o'clock Monday, November 13, 2023 at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Jerry Snell 575 Rosedale Street Toccoa, GA 30577.
