Mr. Wade Hampton Holcomb, age 76, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home.

Born February 16, 1944 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Clara Duncan Holcomb.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from the Stephens County Road Department.

Family members include his wife, Mabel Sellers Holcomb; daughter and son-in-law, Cyndi H. and Robby Barr; grandchildren, Dayna and Will Crunkleton, Kayci King and fiancé, Tyler Squires, Kylie Barr, Matthew and Ania Barr, Melissa and Cody Porter, Chase and Kalyn King, and Drake and fiancé, Evie Cantrell; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Emma, Nora, and Eli; brother, Duffie Holcomb; sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn and Carnegie Hulsey and Faye Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jeanette Holcomb and Theo Smith; and a brother, John Holcomb.

Funeral services will be held at five o'clock Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Tommy Childress officiating.

Burial will follow at Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery.

Johnny Lee, Billy Sellers, David Sellers, Will Crunkleton, Tyler Squires, and Larry Murley will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 3pm until the service on Thursday.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Masks are encouraged for those attending visitation and the funeral service.
