Mr. Victor Ernest Hix, age 67, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Habersham Medical Center in Demorest, GA.

Born October 13, 1957 in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Victor Wade and Christine McIntyre Hix.

Mr. Hix retired from Stephens County Hospital as the Maintenance Engineer and was of the Christian Faith

Family members include his wife, Mary Hix, of the home; children, Victor Hix(Valleri), Jamie Hix, Kayla Gravely(Chris); grandchildren, Adrienne Hix, Amber Ashe, Anna Hix, Logan Hix, Rylan McDaniel, Houston Gravely, Weston Gravely, and Waylon Gravely.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Hix; and sister, Elizabeth "Ophia" Simpson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at eleven o'clock Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty and Rev. Ricky Wade officiating.

Burial will follow at Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Nicholson, GA.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Segars, Chris Gravely, Nate Segars, Bradley Westmoreland, Charlie Hix and Matt Meidinger.
