Mr. Toney Joe Holbrooks, age 81, of Toccoa passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at his home.

Born January 26, 1944 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Thomas Billy "TB"  and Alice Stowe Holbrooks.

Mr. Holbrooks retired from the Maintenance Department at Truett McConnell University.

Family members include his son, Thomas Holbrooks (Phyllis), of Oxford, GA; daughter, Karen Keilman (Paul), of Bishop, GA; grandchildren, Paul Keilman III, Mary Keilman Jordan (Jacob) and Madeline Keilman; and companion and caregiver, Melvina Hill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Talmadge, Doris, Billy, Bobby, Donald, Johnny and Jerry.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until the service time Friday, April 11, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Friday, April 11, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Mike Petty officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stephens County Senior Center Meals on Wheels, 55 Rose Lane Park Drive, Toccoa, GA  30577.
