Mr. Thomas Chandler Scroggs, Jr., age 59, of Buford, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born July 17, 1962 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of Nancy Rainwater Scroggs and the late Thomas Chandler Scroggs, Sr.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and was a self-employed painter.

Family members include his mother, Nancy Rainwater Scroggs of Knoxville, TN; sons, Thomas Chandler Scroggs, III and Samuel Scroggs; sister, Marisa Scroggs of Knoxville, TN; and a brother, Kip Scroggs of Knoxville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Chandler Scroggs, Sr. and by his sister, Renee Scroggs.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Central Heights Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, GA.
