Mr. Steven Matthew Zanoni, age 56, of Toccoa passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

He was born March 18, 1966 in Port Jefferson, NY.  He grew up in Centereach, NY, and is the son of Albert Peter and Evelyn Nachtmann Zanoni.

Mr. Zanoni was a welder with PTL Equipment for 26 years.  His church home is Encounter Church of Toccoa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Allie Thomason (Phillip) of Toccoa; son Joey Zanoni of Toccoa; granddaughters Natalie Paige Thomason; Emi Claire Thomason and Sophie Rae Thomason; brothers Mark Zanoni (Lilianna) of Levettown, NY and Thomas Zanoni (Dawn) of Oakdale, NY; sisters Karen Buchanan (John) of Toccoa, Robin Berti (Jay) of Hauppauge, NY and Barbara Miller (Darin) of Gallatin, TN; Deirdre Zanoni, mother of Allie and Joseph; nieces Jennifer Dickerson and Ashley Buchanan, in addition to other numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Encounter Church of Toccoa from 12:00 pm until the service time on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Celebration of Life services will be held at two o'clock Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Encounter Church with the Rev. Chris Summerlin and the Rev. Josh Garner officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Mr. Darin Miller officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Joseph Zanoni, Mark Zanoni, Thomas Zanoni, Kirby Dickerson, Matthew Buchanan and Caleb Parker.  John Buchanan will serve as honorary pallbearer.
