Gainesville, GA — Stella Ruth Lewis Leopard, 94, wife of the late Hildon D. Leopard, of Gainesville, GA, passed away, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her home.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Leopard was the daughter of the late Walter Grady Lewis and Angilee Manley Lewis. She was of the Methodist faith and retired as a supervisor at Wright MFG.

Mrs. Leopard is survived by her daughter: Nancy Leopard Fleming (Terry) of Gainesville, GA; two grandchildren: Kristi Warhurst (David) of Savannah, GA and Kevin Fleming (Leanne) of Toccoa, GA; great-grandchildren: Chase Fleming of Toccoa, GA, Benjamin Smith of Augusta, GA, Cooper Smith  of Savannah, GA; great-great-grandson: Bruin Smith of Augusta, GA; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Leopard was preceded in death by her sisters: Helen Crosland, Frances Hawkins, Imogene Hopkins and Betty Lewis; and great-granddaughter: Averi Smith.

Cryptside services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
