Ms. Sonja Camille Hicks, age 83, of Buford, GA, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at her home.

Born December 18, 1940 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late William Loyd Hicks and Reba Sheriff Morgan.

Family members include her children, Carrie Bauml (Michael) of Atlanta, GA, Kristen Silveus Crossman (Jay) of Buford, GA and Eric Silveus (Jennifer) of Ball Ground, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson (Travis), Alex Sindicic (Laura), Kaleigh Marzec, Conor Marzec, Samuel Chase Silveus and Casey Silveus; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Wilson, Avery Wilson and Josie Sindicic; and step-sister, Lydia Lynner (Robert) of Cuyahaga Falls, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Craig Silveus, and her daughter, Stephanie Silveus.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Saturday, January 27, 2024.

A Memorial service will be held at eleven o'clock Saturday, January 27, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Allison Per-Lee officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Tom's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
