Mrs. Sandra Eileen Garrett Smith, age 81, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Bountiful Hills Senior Living in Commerce, GA.

Born August 31, 1944 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Della Patterson Garrett.

Mrs. Smith worked in Human Resources at Coats & Clark for 15 years.  She also had served as a census taker with the U. S. Census Bureau, and was head coordinator of the Adult Education Department at Lanier Tech.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She loved to babysit children, going to the beach, going on walks, and being involved in her church.  She would be considered the care giver in her family.  She was the last surviving member of her six siblings.

Family members include her husband, Bobby Joe Smith, of Eastanollee; and her son, Wayne Smith, of Toccoa.

The family will receive friends at Whitlock Mortuary from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Tim Garrett officiating.
