Mr. Samuel David South, IV, age 81, of Martin passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Born March 27, 1942 in Fort McPherson, GA, he was the son of the late Samuel David South, III and Sarah Johnson South.

He was a member of Confidence United Methodist Church, was an Insurance Company Manager with Insurance Service Offices, and was a United States Army Reservist for 6 years.

Family members include two sons, Samuel David South, V and James Douglas South; and sister, Martha Karen South Stephens.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Juanita Ross South; and his brother, John Douglas South.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 25, 2023 at North Atlanta Memorial Park with Mr. Chuck Phillips officiating.

Flowers are optional.  Memorial donations may be made to Confidence United Methodist Church, 9044 Highway 17 South, Martin, GA  30557.
