Mr. Samuel Anderson "Andy" Hicks, Jr., age 58, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020.

Born February 6, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Arminda Tucker Hicks and the late Samuel Anderson Hicks, Sr.

Andy was self-employed in the construction industry and was a United States Air Force Veteran.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Family members include his mother, Arminda Tucker Hicks of Hartwell; his wife, Ronda Turpin Gerrells of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Anderson Hicks, III and Maryna of Hartwell; daughter, Misty Savannah Hicks Hart of Lavonia; grandchildren, Cheyenne Bennett, Luke Hart, and Kane Hart; sisters, Michelle Gary of Hartwell and Melinda Kay Spurlock of Lanett, AL.

Mr. Hicks' wishes were to be cremated.  The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
