Mr. Robert Laurence "Larry" Snead, age 67, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at Habersham Medical Center.

Born June 21, 1954 in Shreveport, LA, he was a son of Shirley Vickers Snead and the late Robert "Bob" Lamar Snead.

Mr. Snead was retired from Lee Arrendale Correctional Institute.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toccoa and a United States Air Force Veteran.

Family members include his mother, Shirley Snead of Suwanee, GA; daughter, Melanie Snead of Walhalla, SC; son, Jeremy Snead of Denton, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl Kelley and Rick of Canton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott Snead and Carolyn of Suwanee, GA and Paul Jobe and Brenda of Germantown, TN; four nephews; two nieces; and five great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at one o'clock, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Toccoa with the Rev. David Ritcey officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12pm – 1pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Toccoa.
