Mr. Robert David Glaze, Sr., age 94, of Eastanollee, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born December 18, 1928 in Stone Mountain, GA, he was the son of the late James David and Violet Ramsden Glaze.

Mr. Glaze was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church, was in sales at Rubber & Accessories, and was a United States Army Veteran.  He loved his family, and was the epitome of a true family man.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  Mr. Glaze was also an avid game player, and a great story teller.  He loved his western shows on TV.

Family members include daughter, Debra Glaze Chini (Lou) of Gainesville, GA; sons, Ben Richard Glaze (Vicki) of Eastanollee, Glenn Byram Glaze (Carol) of Toccoa, Charles Edward Glaze (Tami) of Loganville, GA, and Hal Hensler Glaze (Paula) of Eastanollee; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Hensler Glaze; son, Robert David Glaze, Jr.; daughter, Carol Glaze Cronin; brothers, Herman Glaze, Byram Glaze and Claude Glaze; and sisters, Ruth Glaze and Edna Glaze Shiver.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm Friday, December 15, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Friday, December 15, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Ricky McFarlin officiating.  Burial will follow at Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Josh Chini, Matt Glaze, Alan Glaze, Collin Cronin, Nathaniel Glaze, Michael Glaze, Matt Thacker and Kaleb Glaze.
