Mr. Robert Daniel "Danny" Shackelford, age 67, of Martin, GA, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Born May 16, 1954 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Earl and Evelyn Shackelford.

He was a member of Highpoint Community Worship Center and was employed with Davis Transfer for a number of years.

Family members include his wife, Mary Frances Bohannon Shackelford of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Mitchell Potts of Lavonia; son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Christy Simmons of Toccoa; step-sons, Michael Maxwell, Jeremy Griffin, and Kyle Griffin all of Toccoa; step-daughter, Nicole Smith of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and John LaCount of Toccoa; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother, Billy Shackelford, Tommy Shackelford, Wayne Shackelford, and David Shackelford.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:30 until the funeral hour on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at three-thirty Saturday, September 25, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Warren Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

Tony Bell, Jeremy Griffin, Kyle Griffin, John LaCount, Stacy Watts and Steve Welch will serve as pallbearer.  James Loudermilk will serve as honorary pallbearer.
