Robert "Bob" S. Glore, 87, of Toccoa, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Bob was born on October 15, 1937 in Tiger, GA to the late Ollie and Ernest Glore.

Bob was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon Emeritus as well as a Sunday School teacher and a Choir Member throughout the years. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. A longtime member of the Clarkesville Masonic Lodge, Bob was a dedicated Master Mason. Bob also served many years in his community with the Habersham County Sheriff's Department as a Reserve Deputy. He retired from Piedmont Automotive in Clarkesville, GA after 37 years of service as a Department Manager. He was a car enthusiast, particularly enjoying restoration of old classic cars, and an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan. Bob enjoyed visiting flea markets, listening to music and spending time on Lake Rabun with his family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ramona Dean Glore, of Toccoa; daughter, Selena (Michael) Womac of Cumming, GA and Dean (Christy) Glore of Canton, GA; grandson, Riley Womac and granddaughter, Sloane Womac; sister-in-laws Joyce Glore, Nancy Colston, Barbara (Ruel) Elliott and brother-in-law Frank (Teresa) Dean, along with many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings Jane (Glore) Sewell, Willie (Bill) Glore, and Frank Glore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2 pm at Antioch Baptist Church in Mount Airy, GA. with Rev. Chris Webb officiating. A Graveside Service for Interment will follow at Mount Bethel Community Church in Toccoa, GA.  Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard.  Masonic Rites will be provided by the Clarkesville Masonic Lodge #325.

The family will receive friends at Whitlock Mortuary in Toccoa on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1 – 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund at 2175 Antioch Church Road, Mt. Airy, GA 30563.
