Mr. Richard Clarence Bowden, age 60, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his home.

Born February 27, 1963 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Billy Noah and Joyce Smith Bowden.

Richard was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with E. R. Snell Contractors as a heavy equipment operator. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing.  Richard loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Family members include his sons, Justin Bowden and Bryan Bowden both of Eastanollee; the mother of his children, Toni Bowden; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Joseph Wachira of Toccoa; grandchildren, Dalen Cade Caudell-Bowden and Lila Gavina-Bowden; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, Patty Hatch, (former sister-in-law).

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Buddy and Cloia Bowden and Clarence and Pearl Smith; sister, Symantha Bowden, and brother, Delane Bowden.

Mr. Bowden's wishes were to be cremated.  No services are planned.
