Mrs. Rhonda Jean Davis Herron, age 65, of Gillsville, GA passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at her home.

Born August 28, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Alvin Stanley and Lettie Mae Moss Davis Davidson.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and worked for the Stephens County Sheriff's Department.  Rhonda's faith in God and her family were the most important parts of her life.

Family members include her sisters, Debra Montgomery of Red Wing, MN and Krystal Bailey of Sturgeon Lake, MN; son-in-law, Donnie Carter of Toccoa, GA; partner, John Rector of Gillsville, GA; ex-husband and special friend, Danny Herron of Toccoa, Ga; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ginger Carter; brothers, Stanley "Sonny" Davis, William "Bill" Davis; sister, Deandria "Dandy" Brown; and her step-father, Roland Davidson.

Funeral services will be held at one o'clock Thursday, April 28, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. John Thomas officiating.

Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in Gainesville, GA with the Rev. Len Land officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jason Aldrich, Robert Mason, Jeff Moss, Michael Carter, Kenneth Carter, and Keaton Aldrich.
