Mrs. Reiko Shikama Tabor, age 94, of Toccoa, GA passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born April 30, 1931 in Fukushima, Japan.  Reiko was a homemaker and the widow of Edwin Clifton Tabor.

Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Tabor and Carl Colbert of Lexington, SC; son and daughter-in-law Don and Connie Tabor of Toccoa; grandchildren, Corey Tabor (Zhili Ou), Sarah Jacobson (Marty), Akiko Colbert, Aleah Colbert, Ashton Colbert (Leah Shelton), and Alanna Colbert; great-grandchildren, Mollie Jacobson, Ivy Jacobson, and Cora Colbert; niece, Margaret Katharine Stuart Delano; nephews, Edward Ivy Stuart, Jr. (Sally) and Kazumasa Kondou; and many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ichibei Shikama and Sui; her sister, Teiko Shikama Stuart, and nephew, Takaaki Kondou.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11am until the service hour.

Funeral services will be held at twelve noon, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Dr. Edward Ivy Stuart, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Toccoa City Cemetery.

Corey Tabor, Marty Jacobson, Ashton Colbert, Roger Craven, Clint Craven, and Tim McCollum will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to give a special "Thank you" to her caregiver, Kelly Green, and the entire staff of the Wilkinson Clary Care Center.
