Mr. Randy Lamar Brown, age 64, of Toccoa, passed away peacefully on his Mama's birthday, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Piedmont Athens-Regional.

Born June 10, 1958 in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Henry Johnson and Eva Nell Cheek Brown.

He was employed as a truck driver for many years prior to becoming disabled.

Family members include his sisters, Deborah "Deb" Woody and Lynn Roberts; daughters and a son-in-law, Hope Brown and Holly and Esson Swinton; three grandsons; three granddaughters; special nieces and nephews; and two very special caretakers who have become like family, Sue Ann Moore and Kristi Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cody Lamar Brown, his parents, and his best friend, his dog, Ryder.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, July 2, 2022 from the Chapel with the Rev. Ricky McFarlin and Randy's great-niece, Mrs. Kayla Talley officiating.

Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Trevor Burton officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Michael Koppin, Casey Roberts, Ronnie Rogers, Tommy Whiten, Mitchell Irvin, Billy Gibson, Mylon Shedd, and Jared Talley.  Also, Jostan Brown will serve as a special junior pallbearer.
