Mr. Phillip Todd Beggs, age 56, of Toccoa passed away June 16, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born August 3, 1967 in Toccoa, he was the son of Shirley Crawford Moore and the late Bobby Floyd Beggs.

Mr. Beggs was a truck driver, and was of the Christian faith.

Family members include his wife, Denise Cheek Beggs of Toccoa; son, Michael Beggs (Leigh) of Minnesota; mother, Shirley Moore, of Toccoa; grandchildren, Payton Beggs, Nathan Beggs, Desmond Beggs, Ezra Beggs, Faye Beggs and Astrid Beggs; sister, Bobbie Thomas (David); step-daughters, Kim Todd and Christy Todd; and special friend, Pam Keeling.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Cabe; nephew, Chad Thomas; and step-father, Albert Moore.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Teela Aldrich officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Aldrich officiating at the gravesite.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Tyler Voyles, Zack Stewart, Keith Crawford and James Powers.
