Mrs. Peggy Ann Harrison Whitworth, age 85, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Clary Care Center.
Born October 11, 1939 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Robert Paul and Jimmie Camp Harrison.
She was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church and worked at Wrights Manufacturing for a number of years. Peggy retired from Walmart as a Department Manager. She loved cooking and gardening. Peggy's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Family members include her children, LeDeana Waters of Bremen, GA, Keith Whitworth and Tammy of Baldwin, GA, Kelly Dickinson and Doug of Carrollton, GA, and Tonya Hearn of Zebulon, GA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony Harrison and Terri of Supply, NC and Tommy Harrison and Linda of Lyman, SC; and her sister-in-law Betty Harrison Smith of Toccoa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Dean Whitworth; brother Paul Harrison; and a great-grandson, Boston Perry.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10 am until 11:45 am Saturday, July 12, 2025,
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Zack Whitworth, Wesley Dickinson, Tyler Dickinson, Priest Perry, Kenny Harrison, and Matthew Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Clary Care Center, 249 Hospital Drive, Toccoa, GA 30577.
