Mrs. Peggy Lynn Dye Wilbanks, age 50, of Martin, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at her home.

Born August 20, 1975 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Sally Hardman Dye.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse with Mountain View Health and Rehab, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Family members include her husband, Brent E. Wilbanks of the home; a daughter, Bailey L. Shedd of Martin; a son, Jake Shedd of Martin; step-sons, Josh Wilbanks and Asa Wilbanks (Dena); two brothers, Ken Dye of Martin and Randy Hardman of Toccoa; a sister, Amy Boyce of Oakwood; her grandchildren, Xander English, Kohen Shedd, Beckett Shedd, Ellieanne Wilbanks, Brayleigh Nalley; a great-grandson, Lennox Savage; nieces Kayla Teater and Jessica Jameson; and nephews, Conor Wilson and Grant Dye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, June 17, 2026, and from 2:00pm until the service hour Thursday, June 18, 2026..

Funeral services will be held at four o'clock Thursday, June 18, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Mike Petty officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.
