Mrs. Pearl Jameson Looney, age 97, of Eastanollee, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born August 30, 1923 in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late S. Y. and Dessie Frady Jameson.

She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Family members include her daughter, Shirley Ivester of Warner Robbins, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Denise Looney of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren, Keith Ivester, Kevin Ivester, Brad and Katie Looney, and Jami Looney; great-grandchildren, Sydney Ivester, Landon Ivester, Joe Looney, IvyB Jackson, and Brittany Peppers; brothers, Hoyt Jameson, Harold Jameson, and Paul Jameson; sisters, Maggie Walters and Stella Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Looney.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at two thirty Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Broad River Baptist Church with the Rev. Brandon Crunkleton and the Rev. Don Blalock officiating.

Burial will follow at Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Jameson officiating at the graveside service.

Kevin Ivester, Keith Ivester, Brad Looney, Haden Smith, Kandler Jameson, and Greg Jameson will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1050 Broad River Church Road, Eastanollee, GA 30538.
