Mr. Paul Dorsey Gravitt, age 73, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born June 24, 1950 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late Minor and Rachel Grizzle Gravitt.

Mr. Gravitt was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church in Gainesville and had a faithful and passionate love of our Lord.  He was a very kind and generous man and a loving and devoted father.  He was a pipe fitter and welder and owned and operated PM Welding.

Family members include his daughter, Amy Copeland of Toccoa; sister, Evelyn Powers of Gainesville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Clark Gravitt; his son, Stanley Gravitt; and 9 siblings.

The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date.
