Patricia Ann Porter Deaton, 76, wife of H. Wayne Deaton, of Walhalla, SC, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at her home.

A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. Deaton was the daughter of the late William Earl and Alice Elnora Madden Porter. She was a member of North Walhalla Church of God.

Mrs. Deaton is survived by her daughter: Danette Smith (Chad) of Toccoa ; brothers: Roger Porter and Junior Porter (Barbara); sister: Genelle Tate (Stan); and granddaughter: Alexandra Smith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Deaton was preceded in death by her sister: Edalene Kelley; and brothers: Rupert Porter, Leon Porter, Harrison Porter, Jerry Porter, Cleo Porter, and Tommy Porter.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at North Walhalla Church of God, 426 Deaton Rd. Walhalla, SC 29691.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at North Walhalla Church of God.
