Mrs. Nora Faye Simmons Hammons, age 75, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home.

Born November 23, 1946 in Mobile, AL, she was the daughter of the late William Arnold and Lorene Maria Pope Simmons.

She was of the Christian Faith and was a homemaker.  Nora was the widow of Charles Richard "Dick" Hammons.

Family members include her children and their spouses, Eric and Shelley Hammons of Valrico, FL, Nicki and Christen Collier of Toccoa, Maria and Johnny Hill of Toccoa, Molly Hammons of Clarkesville, GA, Casey and David Sheker of Clarkesville, GA, and Benjamin Zach and Sonia Hammons of Tampa, FL; 15 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Nora's wishes were to be cremated.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
