Mrs. Nan Crawford Herron, age 81, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home.

Born September 16, 1938 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Hoke and Maude Lee Pulliam Crawford.

She was a member of Tom's Creek Baptist Church where she taught the Girls Sunday School Class for many years.  Nan retired from the Bank of Toccoa/First Citizens Bank.

Family members include her husband, Allan Herron; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Kathy Herron, Kim and Stacy Herron, Scott Herron, and Chris and Cathy Herron; grandchildren, Kelly and Kelley Edwards, Jeffrey and Bethany Herron, Anna and Andrew Roberts, and Kate Herron; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Edwards, Jordan Faulk, Jarred Edwards, Cade Edwards, Kinsey Herron, Hannah Herron, Alexus Roberts, and Millie Roberts; two sisters, Martha White and Dottie Payne; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Friday, August 28, 2020 at Tom's Creek Baptist Church with Chaplain Captain Jeffrey Herron and the Rev. Wayne Marcus officiating.

The body will be placed in the church at 10 am Friday to lie-in-state until the funeral hour.

Burial will follow at Tom's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jordan Faulk, Kelley Edwards, Andrew Roberts, Ben Glaze, Chad Herron, and Tim Mathews.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6 pm – 8 pm Thursday.
