Mrs. Mildred Poole Grafton, age 83, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her home.

Born March 26, 1938 in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late Swain and Aileene English      Poole.

Mrs. Grafton was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church and was retired from Walmart.

Family members include her son, James Grafton and his fiancé, Grace Ann Reed; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Carter Grafton; grandchildren and their spouses, Colt and Lyndsey Vaughn, Elizabeth and Jake Skelton, and Dustin Grafton; great-granddaughter, Chastlynn Skelton; sister, Margaret James; sister-in-law, Donna Poole; and nephews, Lane Poole, Wayne Poole, and Jimmy James.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Burgess Grafton, Sr.; her son, Frank Burgess Grafton, Jr; brother, Jerry Poole; and brother-in-law, Edward James.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 9am until the service hour on Friday.

Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Friday, September 17, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, James Grafton, Wayne Poole, Lane Poole, Colt Vaughn, Jacob Skelton, Marshall Reed, and Jimmy James.
