Mrs. Mildred Busha Brock, age 91, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023.

Born September 21, 1931 in Franklin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Mitchell and Myrtie Vickery Busha.

Mildred graduated from Royston High School in 1949.  She attended Victory Baptist Church and had also attended Carrolls Methodist in Carnesville, GA.  Mildred worked at Trogdon Furniture Company from 1968-1987, then she worked at Shoney's, Hardees, Western Sizzlin, and Toccoa Family Steak House for several years.

Family members include her daughter, Rosemary Brock of Toccoa; nieces, Olivia Busha Buffington of Lavonia and Annette Busha Feather of Bogart; nephew, Danny Shelton of Perry; and a special friend, Teresa Rholetter of Toccoa.

Mildred was the last member of her immediate family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jones Morgan Brock; brothers, George Busha, Ben Busha, Doyle Busha, Fred Busha, Ralph Busha, and Ray Busha; and by her sister, Nina Busha Sheriff.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Geter Owens officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
