Mrs. Mildred Holman Addison, age 76, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at The Oaks at Scenic View.

Born July 20, 1947 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Allen and Ruth Long Holman.

Mrs. Addison was an LPN for 40 years.  She worked at Ty Cobb Healthcare, and retired from Brown Healthcare in Royston, GA.  She was a member of Collins Road Baptist Church.

Family members include her son, Brian Addison (Jacklene); daughter, April Long (Brian); granddaughter, Amelia Addison; brother Robert Holman (Dianne); sisters, Robbie Jones (Daniel), Kathy Harris, Deborah Keating, Susan Holman, Judy Randolph (Rick), Geraldine Holman, Shirley Holman and Nadine Humphries; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy "Keith" Addison.

The family will receive friends at the Mortuary from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, December 30, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Mr. Brian Long, Rev. Phil Burgess and Rev. Roger Elrod officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Brian Long, John Burgess, John Leming, Timothy Perry, Jeff Broach and David Hornick.

Flowers are optional.  Memorial donations may be made to Collins Road Baptist Church, 854 Collins Road, Toccoa, GA  30577.
