Mr. Michael Earl Maurer, age 76, of Martin, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his home.

Born May 18, 1947 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Gustav and Mildred Ryan Maurer.

Michael was a self-employed carpenter.

Family members include his sister, Barbara Ake; his children, Michael Maurer, Jr., Michelle Maurer, and Melissa McKinney; and his companion, Judy Voegtlen.
