Mr. Michael Craig Hulett, age 56, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at NEGA Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born March 28, 1968 in Carthage, MO, he was the son of the late Henry Sutton Hulett and Patricia Lynn Scott.  He was a member of The Pointe Church, was a United States Navy Veteran, and was a Professional Pilot.  Michael was awarded the Pistol Expert, the Rifle Expert, and the National Defense, and the Navy Commendation Medals.  He served on the USS Roosevelt, USS Eisenhower and the USS Saratoga.  Michael served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield.

Family members include his wife, Nannette DeFoor Hulett; children, Joshua Glasson (Tina), Skyler Epperson (Amanda), Katie Rose, Katheryn Andress, Michael Hulett, II (Brooke), and Angelia Brown; niece, Breanna Friedly; sisters, Donna Block (Charles Clampett) and Sue Hulett Green (Ken Stammerman); brother, Scott Hulett (Bobbi); grandchildren, Iris Norwood, Hugo Glasson, Braxton Epperson, Jaren Epperson, Maverick Rose, Hunter Hulett, Weston Norris, Stella Hulett, Damien Hulett, and Addison Green.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Casandra Norwood.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Friday, October 25, 2024 at The Pointe Church with Pastor Chad Smith and Dr. Gary "Pearl" Pierce officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.  Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy and the V. F. W. Post 4346.

Scott Hulett, Michael Hulett, II., Joshua Glasson, Skyler Epperson, Paul Schaef, Kevin Campbell, Mike Knight and Stacy Adams will serve as pallbearers.  Shane Williams will serve as honorary pallbearer.
