Mr. Michael Joseph Dickerson, age 65 of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Born July 18, 1955 in Florida, he was the son of the late William Leroy Dickerson and the late Letha Inez Pitts Dickerson Whitworth.

He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and was of the Baptist Faith.  Michael enjoyed fishing and making walking canes that he donated to local nursing homes.

Family members include his daughter and son-in-law, Angela Addis and Woody of Toccoa; grandson, Wyatt Addis; granddaughter, Whitney Addis brothers, Henry Dickerson and Lee Dickerson; and a sister, Myra Dickerson.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Dickerson and a sister, Barbara Milde.

Graveside services will be held at eleven o'clock Thursday, February 25, 2021at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Military Honors will be provided by the Georgia Army National Guard.

Burial will follow.
