Mrs. Martha Louretta Smith Watkins, age 98, of Baldwin, GA, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born November 5, 1924 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Smith and Lydia Klinedinst Smith.

Martha was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

Family members include daughters, Loretta Dodd of Mt. Airy, GA, and Cindy Ledford of Homer, GA; a son, Michael Watkins of Sumter, GA; grandchildren, Trevor Dodd of Mt. Airy, GA, and Angela Brady of Columbia, SC; and her great-grandchildren, James Michael Brady and Taylor Ashleigh Brady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy C. Watkins; and sisters, Edna Smith, Mary Smith, Ruth Smith, and Grace Smith.

The Family will have a private burial at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
