Mrs. Martha Grace Shelton Cleveland, age 90, of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at The Clary Care Center of Toccoa.

Born January 8, 1932 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Lester and Rose Zelia Massey Shelton.

Mrs. Cleveland was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Coats & Clark.  She had a green thumb and loved working in her garden.

Family members include her daughters, Sylvia Sanders (George) and Sandra Smith (Lewis) of Toccoa; granddaughters, Leslie Allen (Kevin) and Jessica Ware (Jeremy); grandsons, Clint Sanders (Rachel), Brett Sanders (Katherine) and Blake Sanders (Joanna); and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Etta Payne and Priscilla Brown; and her brothers, James Shelton, Joseph Shelton and Perry Shelton.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 4pm – 6 pm Friday, December 9, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 o'clock Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Brett Sanders and Grant Ware officiating.

Burial will follow at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.                 .

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Clint Sanders, Blake Sanders, Kevin Allen, Jeremy Ware, Walker Allen and Carter Ware.

Tyler Allen, Aidan Allen, Grady Sanders, Tanner Allen, Clark Sanders, Gabe Sanders and Jacob Sanders will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Special thanks to staff of the Clary Care Center and Gentiva Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church.
