Mrs. Martha Jane Bellew Calhoun, age 69, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born October 5, 1953 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Ardrath Partain Bellew.

She was a homemaker and was a Christian and was of the Holiness Faith.

Family members include her husband of the home, Roy Hilton Calhoun, Sr.; children, Samuel Calhoun (Lisa), Terry Wayne Calhoun, Leigh Anne James (Allen); brothers, Ralph Bellew (Carol), Ray Bellew, Randy Bellew (Kathy); sisters, Debbie Wheless (Jerry) Evelyn Power (Jay) and Laura Graham (Randy); grandchildren, Brianna Palmer, Ryan Key, Jason Calhoun, Arielle Roberts (Christian) Thomas Key, Juli Calhoun, Levi Calhoun, Laina Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Alex Roberts, Jaxson Calhoun, and Landon Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Roy Hilton Calhoun, Jr., Kenneth Paul Calhoun, and Anthony Ray "Tony" Calhoun.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm Saturday, July 22, 2023 and from 1pm until the service on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, July 23, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Brandon Crunkleton officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; John Gibson, Josh Shelton, Christian Roberts, TJ Wallace, Wesley McCumbers, and Steven Calhoun.
