Mrs. Marilyn Janice Ann Fetterly Gardner, age 74, of Toccoa took her last breathe and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born on January 11, 1949 in Massena, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred S. and Helen Poquette Fetterly.

Mrs. Gardner retired from Stephens County Hospital after 25 years of service. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, decorating cards with stickers for her family and friends, and collecting tea pots.

Family members include her husband and high school sweetheart of 54 years, Lansing J. Gardner of Toccoa; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott H. Gardner and Melissa of Winter Garden, FL; daughter, Holly J. Gardner Craig of Toccoa; grandchildren, Scott L. Gardner, Logan Taylor Gardner, Kinley Eva Craig, Kaylen Grace Craig, Kerragen Joelle Craig, Kennedy Lansi Craig; brothers, Richard "Dick" S. Fetterly, Robert F. Fetterly, Douglas W. Fetterly, and David A. Fetterly; and her sister, Joanne Fetterly Stanley.

A celebration of life will be held at two o'clock Saturday, May 6, 2023 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Carnesville, Ga.
