Mr. Luther Roberson, age 92, of Eastanollee, GA passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born November 1, 1927 in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Claude and Icie Cash Roberson.

He was a member of Martin Baptist Church and attended Eastanollee Baptist Church.  Luther was a farmer and also had worked at Mount Vernon Mills in Alto, GA.

Family members include his sons and daughter-in-law, Randall Roberson of Toccoa, Wade and Margaret Roberson of Lavonia, Gary and Joy Roberson of Elberton, and Dale and Christy Roberson of Royston; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Tony Bishop of Eastanollee; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gena Sue Davis Roberson; sisters, Sue Isabell and Ruby Kellar; and brothers, Lester Roberson and Louis Roberson.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be receiving friends or having a public service at this time.

The family will have a graveside service at Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ricky McFarlin officiating.

Burial will follow.

Jonathan Roberson, Terry Roberson, Dennis Isabell, Edward Isabell, Austin Moore and Matt Kellar will serve as pallbearers.
