Mrs. Lori Jean Lemley Scott, age 37, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born October 1, 1986 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of Kathy Millwood Hancock and the late Eugene Edward Lemley.

Mrs. Scott was an elderly sitter and a member of Southside Church in Commerce, GA.  She was blessed with so many friends.

Family members include her husband, Charles Jackson Scott; children, Sadie Greeson, J. J. Greeson and Britton Scott; mother, Kathy Hancock; grandmother, Myloe Moore; sister, Stacy King (Delmar); brothers, Shane Pressley (Lynn), Chuck Croy (Jodi) and Gary Croy (Samantha); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte "Charlie Beth" Elizabeth Scott.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12:00 pm – until the service hour on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday, March 4, 2024 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Cole Parker and Pastor Jeff Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Andrew King, Pete Moore, Chris Eby, Jeff Fogle, Shane Pressley and Harlan Martin.
