Mrs. Linda Jean Thompson Miller, age 78, of Martin, GA, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at her home.

Born February 5, 1948 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Lois Rollins Thompson.

Mrs. Miller was of Christian faith and a member of Martin Baptist Church. She retired from Environmental Services at Stephens County Hospital. She also worked most of her career in manufacturing Two Day Design, Toccoa Injection Molding and LHP in Hartwell to name a few. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed time outside, on the lake, and mostly with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Chris Miller (Tammy) of Martin; daughter, Sonia Walker (Allen) of Eastanollee; son Eric Miller (Tara) of Toccoa; brother, Bill Thompson of South Carolina; sister, Angela Thompson Cooney of Florida; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller; and sisters, Sandra Stewart and Patricia Thompson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00pm – 1:45pm Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday, April 12, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Rev. David Ritcey officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Allen Walker, Heath Dotson, Steve Scheerer, Chris Strickland, Collins Trishe, Rev. David Ritcey.
