Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Charles Barbour, age 75, of Toccoa passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA.

Born November 3, 1948 in Mt. Carmel, IL, he was the son of the late Richard Edelen and Marjorie Lee Lange Barbour.

Mr. Barbour moved his family to Toccoa in 1990, and retired from Milliken where he was Production Manager for 35 years.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  He was a United States Navy Veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam.

Family members include his wife, Nancy Gamble Barbour, of Toccoa; children, Chuck & Rachelle Barbour of Bethlehem, GA; Lange & Jordan Flowers of Rome, GA, and Marlee & Ryan Fleming of Cornelia, GA; grandchildren, Maizee Fleming, Ellie Barbour, Declan Fleming, Ava Barbour and Charlotte Barbour; brothers, Rick Barbour (Patty) and Bill Barbour; sister, Laura Godfrey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Walter & Sandra Gaines and Thomas and Brenda McKevlin; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at one o'clock Friday, October 4, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
