Mr. Kent Don Arrowsmith, age 84, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born June 3, 1936 in Quincy, IL, he was the son of the late Donald Arrowsmith and the late Alleen Sims Arrowsmith.

He was self-employed and was a United States Army Reserve Veteran.  Mr. Arrowsmith started and co-founded the First Responders Benefit Fund, was a Mason, and Rotarian.  He was also an Aerobatic Pilot.

Family members include his wife, Linda LaSala Arrowsmith; daughter, Kristin Arrowsmith; grandson, Blake Arrowsmith; step-son, Jason and his wife Heather Adelman; step-grandchildren, Tyler Adelman, Emma Adelman, and Abby Adelman.  He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Arrowsmith.

Graveside services will be held at one o'clock Monday, February 22, 2021 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Georgia with the Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

Burial will follow.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Responders Benefit Fund, P. O. Box 580 Toccoa, GA 30577.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
