Mrs. Joyce Pless Hayes, age 71, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born January 24, 1950 in Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mattie Lee Merck Pless.

Mrs. Hayes was a member of Beulah Land Ministries in Red Hill, GA and was a homemaker.

Family members include sons and daughters-in-law, Brad Stancil and Mary of Eastanollee, and David Jacob Stancil and Kay of Habersham; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanie Lynn McDaniel and Steven of Toccoa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Hayes.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Toccoa City Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Lamar Pless officiating.

Burial will follow.
