Mr. Joseph Daniel Charles, age 84, of Eastanollee, GA passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Born August 31, 1939 in Turnerville, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Charles and Ruby Taylor Gosnell.

Mr. Charles was a member of St. James Methodist Church, and was a retired custodian at Stephens County Health Department.

Family members include his wife, Janet Charles of the home; daughter, Windy Charles of Toccoa; son, Joey Charles (Michelle) of Decatur, GA; step-daughters, Niki Stinson (Kevin) and Natalie Geiger (Chad); brothers, Byard Charles and Gary Charles; sister, Mary Lou Demore (Bill); and grandchildren, Susannah Terrell, Lydia Spencer (Jared), Delia Charles, Kara Stinson, Luke Stinson, Micah Stinson, Hunter Geiger and Braylin Geiger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Charles and Fred Charles.

A memorial service will be held at two o'clock Saturday, March 9, 2024 at St. James Methodist Church with Pastor April Briant officiating.
