Mr. Johnny Thomas Crisp, age 84, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born April 25, 1938 in Red Hill, Georgia, he was the son of the late Grant Owen and Thelma Wood Crisp.

He was of the Christian Faith and was self-employed in the grading industry. Johnny was an avid gardener, growing prize Tomatoes and enjoyed being outdoors.

Family members include his children, Keith Crisp of Martin, Teresa Crisp-Smith and Horace of Ormond Beach, FL, Steve Crisp of Toccoa, and Cynthia Crisp-Wells and Clarence, Jr. of Martin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Freeman and Max of Martin, Linda Sisk and Marion, Jr. of Lavonia, Regina Murray and Bruce of Toccoa, Peggy Wilson and Larry of Toccoa, and Gloria Murray and Randy of Toccoa; grandchildren, Ruddledge Smith, Hunter Smith Morrill , Devin Wells, Tyler Crisp, and Tanner Crisp; great-grandchildren, Kinlegh Crisp and Brooks Grant Morrill; his beloved dog Bella; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Guy Crisp; and his sister, Geneva Davidson.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Friday, March 17, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, March 18, 2023 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Ricky McFarlin officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. James London and Jeff Holcomb will serve as honorary pallbearers.
