Mr. John Terrell Kellar, age 76, of Toccoa, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home.

Born February 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Jones Terrell and Mavis Wilson Kellar.

He attended Sunnyside Baptist Church and was retired from Dempster.  John also worked with Stephens County Landfill and Coats and Clark.

Family members include his brother and sister-in-law, Buster and Artistine Kellar; his sons, Michael Kellar and Steve Kellar; special nieces and nephews, Teresa and Mitty Higginbotham and Laura and Steve Moseley; great-niece and nephew, Autumn and Blake Day; his childhood friend, Benny Cheek; special cousins, Glenda and Terry Ernest; and number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Barrett Kellar; a brother, Harold Kellar and his sister, Helen Hill.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, the family will not be receiving friends or having a public service at this time.

The family will have a service to celebrate John's life at a later date.
